Credit bureaus profile updates by FNB

I had a home loan with FNB which was in arrears, this loan was then settled in October but strangely enough it still appears on my credit profile, even though I did send the request to FNB to update the credit bureaus my request was ignored and now this negatively affects my credit profile as it appears as if I still have an active home loan that I am paying for. I find it completely annoying and unfair that you have to remind FNB to update credit bureaus how is that my job because I fulfilled my responsibility of ensuring that I paid what I owed and settled it.
