COVID 19 HOME LOAN RELIEF FUND - MISCONCEPTION? LIES?
I app**** for the COVID 19 relief fund on my Home loan for 3 months. With this all was approved and FNB was paid for the next 3 months for our home loan due to the impact we are having on both my husband and myself salaries. I called FNB yesterday to confirm if all was in order, I was told that if the funds were available in my account for the home loan it could possibly be deducted but if that was the case, I should call in and have FNB do a refund as it would be a double payment on our home loan, the banker informed me this will take 2 days max to receive our money back. Of course the home loan debit order came off this morning, the money which is to be used for house hold essentials and chronic medication.. I called the bank once again only to be told that collections will only refund me on the 30th of April.. IF I'M LUCKY!! so during this time till the 30th I will have no money for essentials and my chronic medication etc. Why did I apply for the relief fund if the bank is taking the money anyways? I was told I cannot do a reversal as this would not be advisable, yet, its okay for FNB to debit the home loan and charge you on the relief fund too. I was told this cannot be resolved until the 30th of April.. why was I **** to through the person I spoke to the day before, does FNB staff not all receive the same training or do they just make up their own stories of how it could possibly work. Can someone please assist me in this regard with immediate effect?
