CORPORATE XENOPHOBIA

I app**** for the refinancing of a property (fully paid up) for the purposes of raising capital for a personal venture.FNB declined 2 of my applications citing that they are unable to refinance property of a foreign national.They state that their policy does not allow for this option when it comes to Non-residents a valid work permit notwithstanding,<br> <br> I have been an FNB client for 12 years , I am a Medical Doctor by profession and have a work permit valid for the next 3 years.<br> <br> I expressed my dissatisfaction over the lack of individualizing applications and merely subjecting me it a blanket policy.I offered a suggestion to ask FNB to consider refinancing only 50% of the value of the property,repayable over the duration of my work permit but this received a flat No.<br> <br> Furthermore I incessantly get phone calls asking if I would like a credit card, slow lounge access etc, all of which are non-essential but whenever I approach FNB for a service I actually need , they turn me down. <br> <br> If I am legally stationed in the country, with a permanent work contract , in good financial standing,why shouldn't I have fair access to credit facilities especially for immovable assets!?
