Consultant gave incorrect information with no foll

I called the legal department and spoke to Sipho Dhlamini on 31.08.2015 requesting a settlement amount for my smartspend loan. He sent me a quote and advised i have till the 10th of sept to settle the balance<br> I asked if i needed to send the proof of payment. He said no,as soon as my payment is acknowledged within 3-5 days, I will get confirmation in writting. The letter will state the loan is paid up and that this will be updated at the credit bureau in due course. I have emailed this guy for an update, to date, no response.<br> <br> Called fnb today and the consultant advised she will only submit the rest for a paid up letter Today..had i not called,this would not have been done and this loan would remain active.<br> <br> Today i received an sms from Barrett and Associates regarding a debit that will take on the 1st October for this loan,but its paid up. This means one has yo do their own admin,fnb dors not liase with their external collections department..the inconvenience and airtime wasted,u could only imagine!<br> <br> All im asking for is confirmation that the loan has been settled and that this will be updated accordingly and get my letter and not be bothered by Barrett and associates and fnb.
