constant declines from my own bank

I am very disappointed with FNB. I have worked so hard to get rid of debt and clear up my name, but FNB still declines any application I make. I have a good credit rating of 800+ but they still decline me. I have paid up accounts for the past 7 months but it makes no difference. So what does one have to do to get a good rating? you end up going back to borrowing from shady creditors because they are the only ones who will help. Really not happy!
