Conflicting requests result in delay

i app**** for an FNB credit card on Friday 17 April and was given my quote over the phone after approval. I was told I would be contacted regarding the next step. Monday I called to see if I could speed up the process I was told I can send my documents to [Email Removed] I was told that my proof of income and ID must be sent. I attached my proof of residence in case, I called after two days& was told that the email address I used was not working and needed to send it to another email address, which I did again. I was then told that I needed to send my bank statements as I was not an FNB customer and . I told them that no one had told me this otherwise I would have done this the first weekend and sped up the process. I approached RBJacobs on twitter and he has been a great help in helping me but the people at [Email Removed] indicated they still needed the statements. I told them I have no transport in the week to get to the bank and this was unacceptable. they told me they would get back to me shortly, this has not happened. I need the card urgently. why is the correct info not given from beginning. this is very frustrating
