Confirmation Letter for closed credit card

I have been waiting for a letter that confirms that the credit card is closed as it appearing on my credit profile- the same credit I didnt open - i called FNB a while back and I was taken from pillar to post on just getting the right person to assist me - so I am not ready again to spend an hour asking for a letter so I can update my credit profile - all I want is a letter nothing less.
