Concerns about fairness and equality in the bank customer service practice

I recently encountered an issue with FNB bank that I believe potential customers should consider before opening an account

On the 15th of this month I got a mail that an amount of R19,405 was received into my account, that the matter was reported to Fnb on the basis that my account received the proceeds of alleged *****. Same day my account was been placed on hold, that I need to send a proof of the transaction paid to my account, same day I send the necessary proof needed to the investigation officer THABO LEBEPE.

I spoke to the person that send me the fund and he told his account was on hold too, he went to the branch to clarify he was the one that send me the fund and it's not *****, he told me the incident unfortunately affected few accounts which he made a payment to, that two accounts held by south African citizen and mine too. On the 22nd I got a mail from THABO that they are done with their investigation and Fnb is ending their relationship with me, I was so surprised because I've been using this account for more than 8years and I've never got an issue of *****. I called the Mr fisayo that send me the fund and we both went to the head office to clarify things, that he's the one that send me the fund, and THABO LEBEPE gave me till 24th (just two days) to send an alternative account to send my funds too. Amazingly and my concern part of it now is, the account of the person that send me fund is been unblock and cleared and other blocked accounts was resolve so quick because they are Southafricans, but my own account it's block, my debit card canceled, I don't know what's happening to my fund because I provided an alternative account to send my funds. I feel this disparity of treatment suggest possible bias in handling customer accounts, which raises concerns about fairness and equality in the bank's customer service practice,

The handling of my account that I have been using for more than 8years, particularly the lack of prior warning or opportunity for rectification, has been disruptive and distressing. This experience compels me to advice potential customers of FNB bank to carefully consider how such issues might impact their financial dealings.
