Concern Regarding Unresolved Cancellation and FNB Support
I am writing to express my disappointment with the manner in which FNB has handled my recent request for assistance.
In December 2024, I submitted a cancellation request to NetNineNine via their official email address (***) after relocating and no longer requiring the Wi-Fi service they had installed at my residence. Unfortunately, I never received any acknowledgment from the merchant, and they continued to debit my account for a service I was no longer using.
Regrettably, I do not have records of the emails sent between December 2024 and February 2025. However, I resumed sending cancellation requests from April through May 2025, again without any response or confirmation from NetNineNine.
I approached FNB to assist in reversing the deductions made in April and May, providing multiple examples of the cancellation emails I had sent. Despite this, FNB has requested "proof of cancellation," which remains unclear to me. The only documentation I possess is the series of cancellation requests sent to the merchant, none of which were acknowledged.
As a long-standing FNB client, I find the lack of support in this matter deeply disappointing. I had hoped for more proactive assistance in resolving a situation where I have clearly attempted to disengage from a service that is no longer in use.
I would appreciate further clarification on what constitutes acceptable proof of cancellation and whether FNB can assist in recovering the disputed charges.
