Compliment to FNB King William’s Town Branch Manager.

In much frustration and fury I posted a complaint against FNB about 2 weeks ago. I had been having endless challenges where FNB on multiple occasions requested that I email them documentation so that they would update my profile information particularly my salary information which had been disadvantaging me from applying for one of their products because of the incorrect information on my FNB profile which ultimately compromised my credit score as a result of declined applications. Last week I decided to go FNB King Williams Town branch and requested I see the branch manager whom I ended up explaining my frustration to. The gentleman’s name is Mzwakhe. After all the explaining and him doing a thorough investigation on the matter, he made every attempt to dig deep so as to assist me resolve the matter right there. He was in a meeting at the time I approached me, however out of his genuine concern to have my matter resolved, he prioritised me by first calling in one of the consultants who previously assisted me at the branch by the name Elton. They called every department that had influence in seeing my query resolved. There was other findings which unfolded that implicated a retail store Truworths whose administration inefficiencies had led to my financial profile being compromised. To cut the very long story shorter, Mzwakhe went over and above, contacted the legal division concerned even though I had to speak to them myself as part of their processes, he offered me the telephone, he offered me the WI-FI service so that I could download email documents that this legal department needed to send me, he made sure I do not leave the office without s final resolve. He made sure my FNB profile was updated and contacted the credit department to request more information on why my application was declined and offered sound financial options and education after viewing my FNB accounts. He did all of this with great patience, humility, friendliness and so much politeness, what a dedicated Manager. I had made up my mind that I am closing shop as far as FNB and moving to another financial institution, nonetheless after the encounter with him my confidence in FNB was restored and I will stay. He even made a follow up call to ensure that I was sorted in as far as all my challenges pertaining to FNB and my account was concerned. Elton, thank you so much, as busy as you were you went over and above to assist in the investigation. I went from extremely irate to calm in the time I spent at the Branch Manager’s office.
