Completely unreasonable

I have app**** for a home loan of R700 000 with a R500 000 deposit (40%). I have been a loyal client banking with Fnb for over 10 years! I received an approval in principal of just R620 000 when I am more than capable of affording the full amount app**** for. I am a financial advisor for 8 years. After an AIP is received the valuation is done and Fnb now have a problem with the water supply and decline the application based on this. After struggling with credit department informing them I will install a borehole and meet the lending criteria they still refuse to guarantee my application before I spend money on a borehole for a property I don't own. It is unreasonable. The area has more than enough clean water with neighbors having boreholes all around. All I am asking is for a commitment that the bond will be approved if the borehole meets their criteria. Not we will \consider"once certificates are submitted. I sincerely would like my bank to come through for me since I been loyal to them for over 10 years. I have other banks helping me however on a basis I move all my accounts. I don't want to do this but am being forced by Fnb to go elsewhere. Please make a plan Fnb!"""
