Complaint: ********** Debit Orders
FNB, can you stop passing the buck on this issue? Is it not time you do something for your customers- something very simple like having a feature for me to authorise a new debit order BEFORE you put it through!!! Security authentication.
This morning a ref TAYLIN took R95 from my account. 4 days ago STRATONVH took R126. All FNB can do is after the fact, give me Straton tel #s to call them myself when I DON'T EVEN KNOW THIS COMPANY!! Never authorised them, don't know them. When I call the # FNB gave me, I'm sent on a wild goose chase from one company called SA Payment Exchange which is on FNB system; they refer me to another Durban # saying it's Straton, Straton plays dumb when I ask the agent who answered the phone where they got my details and how they put a debit order on my account.
Point is, it's FNB who are the caretakers of my money. I trust my Premier bankers to PROTECT my money. Not hand it over to ********** whom I don't even know, and say sorry its agreement between you and a third party, when I never agreed to any STRATON or TAYLIN, I simply do not know those companies and never authorised them to take a cent from my account.
Is it that hard for FNB to have a 2 way pre-authorisation feature to approve debit orders before they go off, just like we pre-authorise other transactions on the app and online banking?
