***** committed on Fnb account.

Yesterday, the 16th of September 2023, *****ulent transactions went through on my FNB account, and although I immediately went to the bank, because I couldn't get through to the ***** helpline, they also put me on the phone with the ***** helpline. Here is the thing, I do not have an over draught facility. Still, they let the last transaction go through, without reversing it. I had to wait in line for an hour, to wait for a new card. Now I must wait for the ***** to review, and then I might get my money back. Up to this point, I was very happy with Fnb and their service, but I have lost trust in them. Your trust your well earned money in their care, but my account is empty, because of *****. I am wondering what you are supposed to when you have money responsibilities.

Reviewer Update
Up till now, nobody has contacted me, I tried to talk to them in secure chat, and I was still typing when it says nice to talk to you, have a great day. I actually, traced back where the ***** came from, and it is Vodacom related. We had a previous endeavor with Vodacom where several accounts were added to our account. The message said that you have credits, that you are going to expire, choose something, and there was a small payment, which I used my card for. This payment never went through, but that is where they got my card details. Several transactions went through, on the 16th of September, see above report, and although I went to bank very quickly after that, because I could not get through to the ***** department, they got me through, but when I wanted to follow up, they could not even find my case number. I rep**** the N when they asked me, after my account was wiped out already, and they asked if it is you. Then the response came, that this is not monitored, ***** will call you - never happened. I got no notification, from my bank side, asking for confirmation, while these transactions went through, which is also a red light regarding FNB. Our money in the banks are not secured. That is the bottom line.
