Collections running debit orders early and no feedback from Collections or RBJacbs

I have made every effort to contact FNB to assist me regarding them deciding to run their debit orders early.

The collections department have no consideration for the implications of running debit orders early, especially when it comes to the banks own rewards programs and need for capital adequacy. The ebuck rewards program requires you to maintain a specific balance in your cheque account to accrue points which determines our rewards level. Be running their debate orders early i cannot maintain the balance required. I called collections to discuss this, my debit order runs on the 1st of every month, they wanted to move it to the 28th April, i asked if they move to the 29th - they refused, and when i explained the impact on ebucks (not to mention other debit orders potentially declining) they would not assist. I asked to speak to the manager fo the department to assist, i first got cut off and then had to repeat the whole story with a second call centre agent. I then waited on hold for the collections manager - she was not available as she was on another call. I asked them to call me back, and received not call back.

I raised the same issue on twitter via DM with RBjacobs. I did not get a reponse. I asked with a tweet for RBjacobs to repond to my DM, and also received no reply.

I believe i have made significant effort at my time and cost to alleviate an issue not of my doing. And all my efforts have resulted in no feedback from FNB which is shocking as i wouldnt have to do any of this if they didnt decided to move their debit order date forward.

Really shocking from FNB.
