Closure of FNB Molteno Branch

First National Bank, FNB, failed to inform clients and the community of Molteno about moving the branch to another town. This is despite the fact that the branch has been in operational for many years: growing each year. The most unfair thing is that the bank failed to tell people about when it intends to close the branch until it posted one poster on its door on the 7th of August that a branch will be closed on the 31st of August, same year. We plead with FNB to postpone moving the branch at least by 3 years as the closest branch will be 65km away costing R120.00. People need to make budgetary adjustments and make other arrangements in order to be able to access banking services offered exclusively at the branch. The closure of the branch must be postponed.
