Closing FNB credit card
I am struggling with having my credit card closed. I’ve paid it up and spoken to over 4, if not 5 people from FNB chat and over the phone about closing my credit card account. One says email, one sends me a form and I keep getting transferred to different departments even though I have a general question. I am unimpressed with this service because after I filled this form in , I asked where to send it and I’m told not to send it, email instead. Bathong, I can’t go inside a bank because of lockdown, it would be very , and I mean VERY nice if FNB could close this account without drama. I want to be credit free please. Phew

21 Apr 2020, 15:01Okay. So I was called swiftly and the count was said to be closed and I will receive a closure letter. Instead, I received an email telling me to settle with an amount of 202.76 (today’s settlement amount) and give FNB a call back. Now I call the complaints department and it puts me through to premier client services, who tells me that he will put me through to gold since my account is gold. I explain to him that every time they put me through to gold it bounces back to them , for the passed 2 days I’ve had the same issue. So I’m tired of FNB and giving me the run around like I’m not trying to get out of debt. It seems hellopeter is the only place where they get things done. “How can we help you?” , help me my closing my account that I don’t owe, please!!!!
