Closed account but still open after a month !!!!

On the 23 September money was paid into my cheque account which rendered it a positive balance, as I don't use the account for the last three years . I went into the branch in town in Kempton park CBD and the lady say I must go to the branch where I opened the account. So I went to FNB in Festival mall and spoke to the Manager. I did not have a card at the time so a temporary one was supp**** to draw the money on the 12th of October 2017 (Also the day I requested to close the account) The manager said to leave it with taking my number she will make sure it is closed. Today on email I received another statement owing then R 102.71. Why is this account not closed and I have to pay for a service that I don't use. Very anoid.
