Client for 10 YEARS and this is what I get!!!

On the 24/02/2015 I received an sms that my new cheque card was ready for collection at Newcastle branch. They said that I needed to bring my I.D. and proof of residence.

Today I went in to the branch and after waiting for about 30 + minutes i finally got to the counter and explained to the lady in front that I had come for to collect my card. She proceeded to check on her system and then asked me for my proof of residence, witch I happily supp**** her with. My proof of residence was gotten from a local counselor who had signed off to verify my address last year on the 19/05/2014. When this lady told me she had to just check something with a manager she then told me that it had to be no older that 3 month. This was very aggravating because the sms my so called\best bank in the country"send me did not make any mention of this. If it had then I would not be rocking up at the bank with something that I was told would be fine!!

The team leader tried to see if she could maybe help me out in some way but the address the bank has is different to the one that I have given them at 6 previous occasions.. the last few asking them to make sure that it had been changed on their system.
