I have a policy with FNB and it was cancelled on the 25th but reinstated immediately. They gave me a figure that they have debited yesterday and in included premium for Dec and Pro-rata from the 25th until last day of the Month.

It happened that my car had an emergency on the same evening of the 25th and i needed towing.

I called for roadside assistance and was told that i did not have cover. Then i needed to find roadside assistance on my own from which there is an invoice that needs to be paid.

I contacted FNB and they insisted that there was no cover but later we agreed that there was cover but from the 26th however this did not make any sense since i have been charged from 25th and the call that i had with consultant we were specific that cover should be reinstated from 25th

I spoke to claims and was transfered to another department and was informed that they will need to backdate the policy to 25th and they will be intouch on how to proceed once is done,

the call was Thursday 27th and i am still waiting and the towing company wants their payment.
