Claim on Law on Call Unfairly Rejected
Good day, I am Lwazi Bhengu, Policy Number *** on FNB Law on Call I am raising a matter wherein I forwarded a legal matter between my employer and I with FNB Law on Call on Friday, 20th September 2024 and was advised I would only be attended today the 23rd of September 2024. An FNB representative called and really had poor etiquette. I asked him if we could postpone the call to today at a later time and he responded by saying no. It would be impossible. He later said he would try but if cannot work he would do it on Wednesday I suppose because it will be heritage day. He stated that they cannot assist me because my situation was pre-existing and I tried to reason that at the time I left work I had not exhausted my leave and did not know it would lead to such. He further maintained that he would send me a rejection letter and I could dispute it if I wanted to. I have been with FNB and I know these disputes take forever to resolve!
I am disappointed at the service I have received and may well cancel any policies including those of my family members and friends whom I had advised to take this policy and my banking with FNB who do not offer services such because it means they are ok that I will not be paid and definitely will not be able to pay them as FNB themselves… Worse part is that a friend of mine was allocated a lawyer who has exactly the same issue but resides elsewhere in the country… The consultant or whomever it was did not even want to listen to that…
