Cheque account payment query

I did my credit check & discovered that FNB had submitted my name & an amount of R1218.00 as bad debt. Because of this I can't purchase a house.<br> In April I went to the Makhaza branch to make payment arrangement whereby the amount would be deducted from my account so that the bad debt under my name can be removed. They gave me a number that I was supposed to call, I did, but it was a wrong number. I then went to FNB Adderley street & they gave me a statement, and they say they can't make payment arrangements. I then called the call centre & they said I must go to the branch & make payment arrangement.<br> So now I am not sure what to do anymore. All I want is to pay FNB what I owe them so that I can buy myself a house. And the sooner the better. I am tired of being sent from pillar to post
