Cheated by FNB

I do not like credit cards but was deceived by the FNB consultant into applying for one. They told me it was very good for my credit profile and that it offered retrenchment cover in which my credit card would be paid off if I was ever retrenched from work. However, 3 years later I was retrenched and activated my retrenchment cover. Six months later they began to insist that I must pay off my credit card. When I advised them of my retrenchment cover then only did they inform me that my retrenchment cover was a waiver of premiums for six months. I was horrified as I was now unemployed and did not have any money to pay. FNB handed my account over to their attorneys for blacklisting. I feel cheated by bank that claims to be reputable. Furthermore, by blacklisting me, they have prejudiced my chances of future employment. How do I pay off this debt if they restrict me from getting a job . I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH FNB AGAIN !!! They do not care about the welfare of their clients and their staff will say anything to make a quick buck.
