CHEATED BY FNB

My husband took a life cover with fnb. He paid the premiums and he was update. He passed on now they say the decline the claim because my husband didn’t disclosed but they deducted the premiums, which came to my surprise.

Their questions was as follows; (1) Smoker status is (NO) (2) Treatment for any serious medical conditions (NO); this was very technical because it depends what is serious to you is not to me. They should indicate what they referring to. (3) Taking medication for longer than 2 weeks (NO) Still is technical too (4) Admission to hospital or clinic in the past 12 months (NO) (5) Seeking medical advice in the next 6 months (NO) I fail to understand when they decline the claim but they were deducting the premiums. I have the same policy and is showing that if I die it won’t pay as promised. The took the advantage of the deceased.
