Charges to my account
On Monday evening, 18 January 2016 I realized that my card was either lost or ******. First thing the next morning I reported it and ordered a new card. As a security measure I moved the available funds in the account to my savings account. While I was waiting for my new card(5 days), 2 transactions that I made 2 days prior to the 19th of January, went through my account. It is my experience with FNB, that sometimes transactions that I make only reflect much later on my bank account. FNB charged me R50 and R70 to honor these payments. When I tried to talk about the issue, I was informed that FNB charges clients R250 for any dispute, regardless the outcome. I was amused and amazed and couldn't believe what I had heard. My money was still with FNB, just in another account linked to the same profile. I hope to get some arrangement to get the charges reversed without having to be charged R250.
