Charge more Offer less

On the 30 Sep and the 5 Oct I used my Platinum (now Premium) credit card to utilise the Slow Lounge services which I have used since its inception. Imagine my suprise when I was billed R250 twice to use this service. My experience is that you have made the use of these Platinum services more onerous and provided less service whilst charging more. When I enquired from what used to be my private banker and is now a banking team (another example of less service) I was infomed the following

Kindly note that to acccess the slow lounge you need to meet the qualifying creteria

Account be in good standing which you met

Electronic usage which you met

Log on to FNB app which you did

active cheque and credit card which you have

monthly deposit of R16500 which you did not meet because of the you dont qualify for the free visits

I do not have time in my life to keep track of all your requirements to be elgibile for services and therefore have no further desire to utilise them and dont want to be charged for them.

As far as I am concerned as a consumer if you are going to charge me then you should inform me when i enter the lounge that I do not meet your criteria and will be billed. To simply bill me is against my rights to know that I am using a service that will cost me the ludicrous fee of R250.

As a loyal long standing customer I would like these fees reversed and mechanisms implemented that prevent this sort of problem arising.
