cellphone screen crack

I got myself the FNB phone a in December 2016.

Yesterday the device fell and the phone and the screen crack with a sing line across. i used the phone for 10minutes and became hot and started to recrack by itself like a glass poured with the hot hot water. the sreen just melted and make cracking sounds all over the screen. i called the service centre to explain my situation, and the guy by the name of Martin explain the situation as new to be reported to them, his advice was for me to take the phone to the repair shop. my concern is what if something like this happens again? This is my first time experience having a smartphone recracking by its self in all the phones I ever used. The experience was very much unusual. I tried to investigate futher if ,is there any other similar problem ever occared to other costomers. to my suprise I came across with someone with almost similar problem while the service centre denied it. the problem was repoted 29 August 2016.

please advice on what must i do?i am starting to experience hassles from FNB Connect which I trusted.

I'm not the only one complaining you know it. Please resolve my problem.
