Cash Passport charged over R1000 bank charges for 8 transactions!
We have a multi currency cash passport card which I stood in a queue at Fourways Shopping Centre for an hour to collect ahead of a trip to Europe. We loaded Euro onto it. In Prague, we used the card 7 times and once in Vienna. We have been charged over a thousand rand in “currency conversion” fees! What is the point of a multi currency card if you are charged like this? Our credit card carries zero charges! We are appalled. If it’s a single-currency Card we should have been informed upfront.
