Cash deposit

I have just deposited R40k at FNB Woodmead - when i got back to the office and checked my account I was charged R1065 service fee for the deposit. This is absolutely insane. If I was told that it was going to cost me R1065 to deposit the funds into my account, I would of rather kept the money under my mattress. FNB this is ******** - surely I should of been informed instead of just getting my money ******!!!
