Cash deposit

I went there to deposit cash at the ATM, the transaction was cancelled I don't know why. I went in the branch a query was logged I was told the refund will take 24 to 48 hours of which I am still waiting until today. The person I was sending money to needs that money. She wants to use it so what must happen now.
