Card Delivered to a branch too far and expected to jump through hoops for them to correct this

I have been an FNB client for the past +7 years. I app**** for my card online at the time living in midrand and requested that my card be delivered there. My card expired last month and instead of being asked where i would like to have my card delivered they just decided they would send my card to the midrand branch once again. I called them to notify them of the fact that the midrand branch is no longer my closest branch as i have since moved to a different area, i was then advised that i need to go to my nearest branch to complete some document requesting that they deliver my card there. For a bank that sells the "digital banking" dream they are very backwards. I told that manager that i will not make two trips to a branch for card delivery as there was no call made to me to confirm delivery address/branch. I will gladly go and get my card at my nearest branch but i will not make two trips for this. The branch manager at midrand then said i should send a signed email to verify that i want them to deliver my card to my nearest branch and they will then do signature verification and send the card through. This morning they called me and advised that they will not be able to send my card through so i need to make a plan. What kind of service is this? Why do they say i should send a signed email and then they cant even deliver on that promise? This is unacceptable! Now FNB needs to fix this or close the account!
