Car Insurance Claim

First of all. I had a Current Account at FNB which is called Aspire Account and I was paying a monthly fee of R105 . Earlier this year when I lost my Aspire Card Account I app**** for another as usual and when I went there to pick it up it was the black card (Private client account) which charges R450 fee per month. I asked them why they upgraded my account without my application or Permission and the reply was that " it's the same account but the difference is the card" they explain further by telling me that it won't have extra fees (they ****) ..last month when I went through the security chats they told me that Private client account charges more than Current Account R450 instead of R105. All these months was paying more than I was supposed to pay. I never enjoy my freedom with it.

Secondly: on the 11th of June 2024 I took a policy from FNB and on the 12th next day I received an email of ensuring my policy. On the 14th of June 2024 I had a breakdown and they assisted me with it two times (jumpstart and towing). On the 22nd of the month I got hijacked and I open the case and called my insurance (FNB). THEY were assisting me and with the courtesy car, all was well until on the next day I received an email stating that my policy was cancelled on the 11th of June 2024 , on the day I took the policy.

Now wen I asked them why my policy cancelled and they rep**** "we have not received the funds to continue with the policy"

My issues was that how is it possible that in the same day I took the policy is the day u deduct from my account and right away when it was unpaid you cancel the policy? No one called me to give me an answer in that one.

I told them that your service provider told me in call recording that when it didn't go through they will cover it all together with the premium on the 1st of this month so it will be R930+ R600 ...we agreed on that one. They say they will lesson to the call recording and get back to me but they never.
