Hallo

I signed up with FNB connect on the 31-01-2017 and requested that my excising Vodacom number should be ported. I also requested to be upgraded to the Flexi contract.

The sales person from the FNB connect desk informed me that everything will be up and running the following day 01-02-2017.

I received a confirmation sms from FNB that the number porting was successful.

Wednesday the 01-02-2017 my number was ported however I was unable to make or receive calls or use the internet.

I Contacted FNB connect on the following dates and times.

31-01-2017 10:11

01-02-2017 08:18
09:06
11:17
11:48
12:08
15:50
17:26

02-02-2017 08:22
11:31

***
Complaint: A36BSWSF
***

Nobody is able to assist me and refers the matter to their admin team which I can't speak to.
Every time I phone I get a different story as to why i don't have service.
I can also not speak to a Supervisor or manager as they are " Always in meetings" or "24 floors from the call centre and they don't have phones".

I can't do my internet payments, buy airtime etc. ass the FNB app doesn't work without a valid number.

I can't receive or make calls, sms, Whattsapp's or send emails. I am losing money because my clients can't phone me.

We are off to a rough start, a very very bad one. Incompetence on the highest levels. FNB cant' even get their banking right never mind being a mobile network.

I can't leave you. I can only port my number back in 6 weeks time. So I am stuck with you!!!. Reviewer Update

Hallo Rahim

Firstly thank you for spelling my surname wrong. Very Professional.

The problems keep on piling up:

1. Your coverage is shockingly bad. Even next to a cell-c tower I only manage to get HSDPA at best. So much for the cheap data bundles.

2. If you move any ware outside the metropolitan area you don't get signal at all.

3. You haven't debited my account for February at the end of February/ Beginning of March. I have not received a invoice for February. After various phone calls I was informed that I will be billed for February and March at the end of March. Still No invoice.

4. Come end of March still no invoice and still no debit order.

5. Phone FNB connect to obtain clarity and an invoice. Received invoice which wrongfully reflects subscription date and double invoice me on the voice package.

6. The invoice amount and the debit order amount does not tie-up R748.30 invoice and R658.30 on debit order.

7. I phone again to dispute the invoice. Can't make phone calls because my sim is now blocked.

8. I phone the call centre from my work phone.........

What is the use of a call centre if the agent, their line manager or any other service manager can't assist you directly. Neither they nor me can speak or contact the Accounting or Technical departments directly. You can only log a request through them with a 5-7 working day turnaround.

8. I have personal and business banking with FNB. Without cell service I am unable to access or make payments via internet banking.

This is the second month end that I am sitting without cell phone service. I am unable to pay my bills, suppliers and employees on time.

I am unable to log into the FNB instant Accounting software to issue invoices and Quotes.

I am unable to receive customer’s calls.

You have brought my business to a standstill.

You have cost me so much money because incompetence.

9. I wish for FNB to downgrade my cell phone number to prepaid sot that I can return to Vodacom.

10. I wish for FNB to fix my invoice and debit order.

Don’t get FNB connect. YOU WILL REGRET IT
