Can’t close FNB account (Private banker NEVER available)

FNB is absolutely infuriating when it comes to closing a credit card account. I requested the closing of my credit card account last week and it remains open.

The biggest problem is that no one can give you information on what is going on or when it will be done. All they tell you is that the agent assigned will contact you and never does.

When you speak to other people at FNB they just keep saying they will escalate the matter and still you don’t hear anything from anyone.

Also I am a private clients “client” and in this whole time I have not been able to reach my private banker once , I left messages which state your banker will phone back as a matter of priority and they never phoned me back..

Stay away from this bank , their slogan should be “how can we help you remain in debt and pay high interest rates”
