Cant Cancel Overdraft on the phone

I absolutely love FNB and always recommend them to my friends, but it irritates me that they can be so advanced and innovative with their service and online capabilities but I have to go into a branch to cancel an overdraft that I can easily apply for over the phone or online. I was offered an overdraft facility over the phone when purchasing a smart device. I stupidly took it and don't actually need it. Needless to say I have decreased it to R1. I now get charged every month for the overdraft of R1!! I called the call center to cancel this and they say I must go into the branch. I think its ridiculous that this cant be cancelled over the phone when everything else can be done telephonically! Its a bit inconvenient to go into a branch and previously I had an overdraft that I cancelled over the phone so I am unsure why I cant do the same now?
