Cannot seem to close my account

I have to of the same account with FNB, both cheque accounts.. I went to the Menlyn branch to close one of it as the overdraft was now paid up. He made me pay the little difference the account now accumulated interest. No its been almost 2 weeks account is still open and more fees have been added..

FNB was happy to open the same account, it happened within in minutes as my salary was gonna go to it but closing the other one is something which seems impossible. I have to go to the branch to find consultants who do not care, or I wonder if they do not want to help so the can keep on charging.
