Cannot close my share investing account

After FNB failed spectacularly to assist me with a ***** that occurred on my credit card while I was in the United States (which was the final straw that broke the camels back), I've moved all my accounts over to Investec. Kudo's to Investec, they made the process quite seamless to move over, including the bonds I had on my properties. However the process in closing my FNB accounts haven't been fun.

I have been struggling for 2 months now to close my share investing account. All my other FNB accounts have been closed, so I am unable to transfer the funds from my share investing account to my current account at my new bank. As a result, I have to complete a bunch of documentation for FNB to transfer the money to my other bank account, but that has not happened despite submitting the documentation multiple times over the past 2 months. In fact, FNB is not even responding to my correspondence.

I still hope to get my money out of my share investing account someday, but I suppose the silver lining is that I'm basically done with FNB. Investec is a true private bank, I can recommend them if you have also been experiencing issues with FNB.
