Cancellation of Policies

Good day since the 13th of December I requested that my policies be cancelled. I am still waiting for my cancellation letters. Can this be done because when one calls the fnblife, you hold on for more than 10 minutes. I know for a fact that I will see an unauthorized debit on my account from Fnb. I have given an instruction to cancel. Is it possible maybe before this year ends that this is done.
