Cancelation of the reservation amount

Marchant cancelled the reserved amount on the 8th Aug, today is the 17th I have not received my funds and always when I call FNB I am told to wait for 3 weeks, it's over a week that the cancelation was done, why mist I still wait for 3 weeks?
