Can't reverse debit order

Which century are you guys working in? I recently set my credit card to debit one of my accounts automatically on the 1st of the month. I did this after 1 March so that it starts happening on 1 April. To my shock the debit went off today and left my other account in deficit for which I will be heavily penalised. When I called *** they said they can't reverse debit orders on Sundays. Effectively you're saying we should just go bank with whoever cares enough to provide this service on a Sunday. I want that wrong debit order reversed and I want compensation for the penalties this has caused. And I want to deactivate the autopayment feature on your online platform.
