Can't close my account - fees climbing

<p>Due to huge monthly bank fees and absolutely no help from my 'Premier' banking service I've opten to change banks from FNB to Nedbank. I requested the closure of my Premier FNB cheque account on 17 June 2016 and low and behold the account is yet to be closed. On 21 June they requested a letter requesting the account closure. I sent the letter on 27 June 2016 to Seipati Kukame (Premier Banker - what a joke). This woman keeps insisting that she still needs the letter, even though I've emailed it to her 3 times. All the while I've accumulated R 1200 in bank fees for the period. I will not pay these fees for your staffs incompetence FNB. Please get your house in order, someone teach Ms Kukame what Premier banking service is, reverse the charges and CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT. This whole experience has left a terrible taste in my mouth, if you premier service is this shocking I shudder to think what your standard service is like. Come on guys. Get your act together, in today's competitive market all that sets you aside is your service, and this service stinks. </p>
