Calling out FNBs slow response!

I am really frustrated with FNB and I would argue with very good reason. I do not know which reference number to use as there are many and no attempt to solve the issue where I thought a decision was made and the case was done. At least from my end as whatever happens with the Merchant is none of my concern as I have repeatedly stated.

So I was told I will get a response in 24 to 48h in my last reply here on hellopeter. I posted on Wednesday morning getting ref number ***. It has been more than that with no response. Now it is weekend and I just have to wait.

FNB makes it really difficult as there is no HUMAN to actually talk to who can "actually do something" when you have a problem. There are always stories etc.

So I will set it out.

Money was taken in an ******* manner from my credit card without my permission where things (I do not know what, but something was bought for R9000 from webtickets). This was reported to FNB and webtickets on the same day. This was in November 2022.

Many many days later and I have still not received the findings from this ***** case I decided to write a review here on hello peter about my experience. This was ib Fabruary 2023. I received an official decision from a Joan Askham where it was decided to refund me (this official decision has been sent to all relevant people and all knew about this) the amount based on some insurance policy FNB has. I accepted this decision and the money was returned to my Credit card. I assumed this was the end of the matter. I also sent this official decision to FNB when asked about it with no response.

FNB however seems to have ignored this and 5 months later literally deducted the amount again from my credit card after the official decision of Feb 2023. This was after some "other findings" were made and this was done without my permission whatsoever.

FNB will actually deduct money from you credit card which is legally not theirs and without any reason WHILE IT IS EVEN DOCUMENTED. Anyone please tale note.

FNB please immediatly respond to this and most importantly within the 24 to 48 hours!
