Call centres do not work!!

Trying to query a deduction date on my RCP account. I was transferred 5 times and with the last agent the call cut (or he hung up) and he did not phone me back. The automatic verification system is also not working because it keeps saying I have entered the incorrect number of digits when the id number I entered was correct. Why is it so difficult to sort out a simple query about a deduction date??!!
