Call Centre shenanigans

Called ********** 404 for Telephone banking. Authenticated with ID, card nr and PIN. Hold on for 5 minutes, agent eventually picks up - asks me to authenticate AGAIN, asks me to verbally give my personal information? Why go thru the system authentication then, agent cut me off. Called again, same process - full authentications, but within 2 minutes agent picks up and places me on hold, I hold on for over 7 minutes, agent comes back online - again asks me ID nr over phone? Ask her why I authenticated, she says that is how it is, proceeds to be difficult and asks me to confirm my address etc. All this just so I cna confirm if a Cellphone banking transaction went thru.

I BELIEVE FNB IS DELIBERATLY MAKING IT DIFFICULT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS TO INTERACT WITH STAFF, THEY KEEP FORCING EVERYTHING TO ONLINE SELF SERVICE - EVEN IF WE AS PAYING CUSTOMERS ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR THE PRIVELAGE OF SPEAKIGN TO A HUMAN BEING!

I'm so unimpressed, this treatment along with ebuck changes has made me reconsider if it is really worth having an FNB bank account or if it is perhaps time for a change.
