Call Centre agent giving me wrong information
On Tuesday 26 Jan 2016 I phoned in to FNB call centre and opened a savings account with them. I told the call centre agent my temporary id has expired and Im still waiting on my id so he said to me I can go to the branch with this expired id and drivers license and they will assist me. I have come here by the branch this morning at about 9:00, sat in line for about an hour waiting only to be told they can not help me. As this is part of the consumers law I demanded to be helped with the said documents as was promised to me. Then when I requested to speak to a team leader the phone was dropped in my ear!!! If this is the kind of service that I will be getting then I really dont know if I want to be there. This is totally unacceptable to me as I know how to treat customers and this is NOT the way!!! I demand to be helped by FNB as was promised!
