BUSINESS ACCOUNT STILL ACTIVE AFTER I REQUESTED IT TO BE CLOSED

I have been asking for my business account to be closed, I initially app**** for the business account to be closed a while back because it took them 30 days to open the account, I called a million times asking for an update for the business account to be opened, then called and told them to cancel the process as it was taking too long and I opened a business account with a different bank. they went along and still opened the business account and I called and went to the bank to ask them to close it. I was told to leave it, it will close by itself. now I get an SMS saying my business account has been handed over ??? why!! CAN THEY PLEASE CLOSE THIS ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY
