Broken Promise and Being Misled!
I want to know why FNB suddenly locked me out of my online banking account when I have been using it for a long time. All I did was reset my password because I struggled to log in and when I did login with the new password, the message said I need to verify my chip and pin card at a bank atm or branch. So I went to the MetLife Plaza FNB branch to get this done and the lady then phoned the FNB call centre to get this fixed as she could not help me with this. I am not an FNB account holder as I use a 3rd party bank for my PayPal transactions. After the lady spoke to the call centre agent, she told me that this would be escalated and I would be able to access my online account after 2 hours. I wasn't even given a reference number for this. Well, it is well over 2 hours and I still can't access my account! Can this please be resolved as I need to withdraw money from my PayPal account but I can't access my profile?!
Just to let you know, I am so disgusted and very upset about the broken promise and being misled!!!!!!!
SoII then decided to go to the FNB branch to call one of the agents in the online banking department to see if they could resolve this since you people are so slow in resolving this! I was able to atleast get some direction as Yandiswa, the woman I spoke to, said my account was *******ed and that I would need to register a new FNB account for PayPal transactions without an FNB account. I had to then go online on th computer to register and fill in all the details but I encountered some problems when I submitted the details as it gave me a E-694 error. I told Yandiswa this but she did not understand what I was saying and I soon noticed that she was getting impatient so I told her I would try again to fill in the details and see what it would say but by the time I got back to the phone she had already dropped the call.
After that ****py exchange that was unsuccessful yet again, I called the online banking department again and spoke to Keletso. This time I explained that the system would not allow me to register a new account for PayPal and so she asked to to take screenshots, which I did and send to her by email and then she said she'll escalate and she then provided me with a reference number.
