Bring back the FNB I know!

So sometime last year I decided to change banks from FNB to Capitec bank because of the charges I was incurring at FNB. This year I decided to go back to FNB because of how effective their system is. I then app**** for a gold Cheque account using the FNB App. I received the card and today I went to the branch (FNB Karaglen shopping Centre) to have my debit orders moved from capitec to them. The branch had about 2 or 3 customers including me, waiting for assistance, with about 6-7 consultants on duty. I got there at 16:15, only to get assistance at 16:55. I would have understood waiting for 40min to get assistance if the branch was packed, but it wasn’t. Instead, the consultants were busy chatting, not even bothered that I am here to get help.

When I eventually got assistance, the guy consultant who was helping me ( well supposed to be helping me) told me he is unable to assist me. I need to fill in a debit order transfer form and then email it to FNB. And the debit orders will be successfully transferred in 5 weeks. I was really puzzled by this because my Salary is going to be deposited into this new FNB account and my debit orders need to go through on the 26th. Who must then pay the extra charges for the debit orders not going through with the third parties? Secondly, it took a day for Capitec to move my debit orders and then I’m told FNB will take 5weeks? FNB prides it self in being efficient in helping customers, and then this? I must say, I’m very disappointed! What’s the point of having a fancy looking branch and have the standard drop so low? Now I’m stuck to fill in forms that were never even explained to me and that Time I never filled in any forms at Capitec. Is this how it is with FNB now or was it just the people at the branch taking me for granted? Please let me know ASAP, apparently I’m still welcome at Capitec.
