Bond Statement:

Im an FNB customer for years. My step (H. Mkhaliphi) father was working for ****rnet and bought a house through FNB. The house is in Piet Retief (Mpumalanga Province). My step father was retrenched by ****rnet and could not meet his monthly repayment of the house.

The matter was brought to my attention and decided to take over the payment of the house as I was thinking of my mother & siblings who were going to be homeless. The mandate to pay the house was done / signed in FNB, Springs. I contacted FNB requesting the statement, then I was told that I cannot receive the statement because I am not the owner of the house - which is true & I am fully aware that I am not the owner of the house.

To my surprise when I signed the mandate to repay the house, no one ever told me that I cannot repay the house that I dont own. As the debt payer is it too much to ask to request a statement to know how far have I paid??

I dont want the bank to change ownership of the house as I know that it is matter that my family must sort with the court. I only need a statement of the house which is debiting from my account every month without fail!!!
