Absolutely pathetic service by the by the FNB bond department to me as their client who banks and has a home loan with them. On the 18th December 2020 I got paid and seeing that my home loan debt order does not deduct, I decided to make a transfer of R4000 myself to the home loan account with the hope that it will reflect on time and the debit order for December will not go through. Unfortunately on the 23rd December 2020 the home debit order of R3 660 went through it left me with no money in the account for other debts orders that will run month end. So on the 28th I went to Boitumelo FNB branch to request for a refund from home loan. I was assisted by David Dasher he called the bond department and he was advised not to reverse the debit order make by the bank but to reverse the one made by me which is R4000, he was further told to print and fill the pre paid form with me and send it back to the bond department which he did. On the 29th I got an email saying the application can not be processed as they are outstanding documents I need to submit, those documents were copy of my ID, proof of residence and the debit order form. I went back to Boitumelo branch to submit those documents, I was helped by David again, he once more called the bond department and he spoke to Nombuso who is the one responsible for my refund she told David what was he was to do. David fill the debit order form and send it to Nombuso together with other documents. Payment still didn't go through as I got another email saying the process of refunding is pending. I called the bond department I was told that I need to submit a tax number. I once again went to Boitumelo mall and got assist by David again when I got there David called Nombuso he was told to reprint the for fill it and now fill the tax number and send it back to her. He did that. On the 30th I did not hear anything from FNB until today the 1st of January 2021 at around 18H00 when I thought I finally got my refund but not another massage that they are outstanding documents.

I am very very angry by the bond department of FNB as I feel that they are taking me for a fool. I really want to know what does it take for FNB to reverse money these days? I am so angry in a way that I want nothing to do with these bank ever again now I don't have any money to go back to JHB tomorrow because someone is failing to do her work well.

I hope I will get my refund back because I really need that money if I was not in need of the money that money I wouldn't have made so many trips to the bank by so doing it means and shows that I need my money back.
