bond in arrears and wanted to make them as offer

my account no. *** was in heavy arrears after the debt review made my finances to look extremely bad. on the other hand the debt review gave me a statement that shows me that the bond was going down. to my surprise when i was no longer working and wanted to come out of debt review and it was after four years. that was when i discovered that i was at the deep end. not knowing what to do with no more income. i went to the bank in february 2013 to see how can the bank help. to my the bank manager Govender told me that i need to pay or else he will auction the house. i did not understand how as i wanted the way out. but there was no way out except to pay or the house is going to be auctioned. i wrote to care@fnb thinking that i will be help but to no avail. i went under lot of depression as i did not see the way out. until in december 2013 to see legal aid south africa in maponya mall. the guy told me that i could made an offer or the bank and i can sell the house at the market value and settle the bond. in short i ask if i could fnb an offer on the house or they want the money in full. the front lady said yes and she added cancellations fees to. but fnb accepted offer_ auct
